We are very excited about the addition of a third cabin on October
1, 2009. The cabin is owned by friends and is ours to use when
they are not vacationing here. This small cabin is up a long lane at
the top of a hill, is very quiet and is located on five tree lined
acres. It is just what you picture when you think about a cabin in
the woods. This is a great cabin for 2-4 people. An inflatable
mattress can be available to sleep two more. It is very private and
charming and only 1/4 mile from our house.

The small cabin is one room with queen bed, dining area and food
cooking area. It is beautifully furnished and has a loft which is
best suited for use by older children. A VCR with lots of old
western videos is provided an a few games and puzzles.
This lovely cabin is a combination of rustic and modern living. It
has no running water in the cabin but full water jugs are provided
in the refrigerator and can be refilled in the bathhouse. The
bathhouse/laundry is completely modern with shower, stool and
sink and is 40' away from the porch. The cabin has heat and air,
dishes, silverware, refrigerator, double hot plate, toaster oven,
microwave, crock pot and electric griddle.
A large covered picnic area with bench swing, picnic table,
refrigerator, and gas grill is located in the yard. There is also a fire
ring for campfires. There is no telephone at this cabin.
A blow up queen mattress can be available if you need to sleep
more than four people. You need to bring your own bedding and
towels since the older, small stackable washer and dryer are very
slow. The laundry at Cabins A and B is available for mid-week use.
We get a lot of rain on the Plateau and this cabin is in the woods.
If you have pollen or mold allergies, please let us know when we
are scheduling your reservation. We may need to put you in one
of the other two cabins because they are not so close to the trees.
